I planned this trip alone to a cabin and we have used Timber Tops in the past and always had a great experience. However this was not great, it was ABOVE AND BEYOND GREAT. It started off rough when I arrived and could not find the cabin and it was dark and I reached out and the phone was answered and tried to help me locate the cabin but unfortunately I could not find it in the dark so I went and got a hotel for the night. BUT the next morning I reached out to the office and they actually had a maintenance person lead me up to the cabin and made sure I was safe. The customer service on this trip by the staff Tracee and Brian was the best I HIGHLY recommend using Timber Tops!

We had a great experience in this cabin and it was clean and ready when we arrived. Directions were good but signage could be improved a bit as there are lots of turns to make to get to it. It would be great if it was “colour-coded”. I.e. signs for this cabin might all be green, another one red, one blue, etc. etc. It would just make following the directions a bit easier particularly at night. We stayed at Bear Mountain Getaway and the only feedback we would like to provide would be to improve the lighting in the cabin. We played games at the kitchen table often and the lighting was very poor.

After getting a Keurig coffee pot like your ad says, and getting the game fixed, everything else was wonderful. One of the cleanest cabins we've rented. Taller toilets would really be nice.

Instructions & information were spread out across too many emails. I couldn’t find what I needed when I needed it. But cabin was clean, view was amazing, we really loved it!

Cabin was great. Had issue with the hot tub leaking, but was fixed right away. Just had to wait overnight for it to warm back up. The drive to cabin was sketchy, there were several parts of the gravel Road that we’re washed away.

Arrived 3/3/23- VERY bad weather. Got a call we could check in to cabin without going to the office. Grateful for that! That should be the standard process- shouldn't have to go by the office first. Thx!

We really enjoyed the experience with Timber Tops. The cabin was excellent just like it shows in the pictures. Our cabin was available for early check in which was nice. The staff was friendly. This cabin is located about 40 minutes from Gatlinburg and a little less than that to Pigeon Forge. However it was not a bad drive to either place. The cabin is on a gravel road in which we had no problem but small cars might. We look forward to staying with you all again.

Customer service was great for booking. They helped pick out the perfect spot. The directions to the cabin are slightly confusing when they lead me in a direction named a cabin not the one I'm staying in, which at the end of the route is right next to mine.

Bear Mountain Getaway is a beautiful cabin with a gorgeous view. The gravel road is a little treacherous - lots of ruts. We didn't have 4 wheel drive but maybe update the website to indicate SUVs, trucks or 4WD recommended.

Absolutely Loved the place. The cover to the hot tub needs to be replaced due to dryrot is flacking into the tub everytime you open and close it. The driveway needs to be made aware that you need all wheel drive. Can not tell you how relaxing this place was and cant wait til we get to visit again.

The cabin was spectacular! The view was breathtaking, the hot tub was amazing, and the grill and table on the deck just made the experience the best! We spent most of our time there when we were actually at the cabin. We felt the directions to get to the cabin once we found the mailboxes was confusing because you didn’t turn right at that point but continued on the paved road for some time. Also, I feel it should be stated in the description when looking at cabins that you’re about 15 miles from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge which is at least a 45 minute drive. That should be known upfront to plan if this is the correct cabin for you.

The views were beautiful, as promised. In late September, lots of warblers, cardinals and blue jays munching on berries in the trees nearby, so it was a bit of a birders paradise which was an unexpected bonus! It is a bit of a drive to and from town, so it's definitely more suited to people looking to relax on the porch and cook out on the nice grill!

Our cabin kitchen was well stocked with fine silverware and quality cooking pots and pans. The coffee pot was outdated, however. Took forever to get a cup, needs upgraded.

Difficult to get to but beautiful view and worth it. It’s a decent drive to the park, would recommend going through pigeon forge rather than Gatlinburg to avoid traffic. The fire pit was great, hot tub functions didn’t all work perfect but that’s a big first world problem
