1. What to Expect

The FlyRide attraction at Beyond the Lens Pigeon Forge is an amazing flight simulator where you’ll actually feel as if you’re soaring over mountaintops and skimming over lakes! The adventure takes place aboard a suspended, free-floating multi-person ride so that you can fly along with your family and friends! While riding, the full motion seats dip, turn and soar to match the action on a giant 4 story curved screen! To make things even more interesting, you’ll also experience wind, scents and other amazing effects throughout your flight!

2. About the Action on Screen

The movie used in the FlyRide attraction was produced by Academy Award-nominated IMAX filmmakers and was captured by four 25000-lumen 4K laser projectors that were blended together to create a 60 foot wide immersive image! The film combines with a full range digital audio system to make you feel completely immersed into the ride! During your flight, you’ll encounter some of the most famous landmarks throughout the country including the Grand Canyon, Statue of Liberty, Niagara Falls and more!

3. Ticket Information

One of the things to know about the new FlyRide attraction is how to purchase tickets! You can purchase online tickets to FlyRide, and you’ll find separate prices for adults and children. The best value is the Techno-Tainment combo that includes admission to both FlyRide AND Beyond the Lens! Just keep in mind that while children 4 and under are admitted for free to the Beyond the Lens exhibits, a child FlyRide ticket will need to be purchased when buying the combo. Also note that children must be at least 32 inches tall to ride!
