With the weather getting cold, it is a great time to take a vacation to the Smokies. One thing that visitors love about staying with us is the amount of amenities we offer. We pride ourselves on making sure that our guests get the most out of the money they spend! Here are 4 amenities at our Smoky Mountain cabins to use this winter:

1. Hot Tub

During your stay, you’ll love enjoying the fresh air and stunning natural scenery. One way to do so is by sitting in the comfortable chairs on the porch wrapped in a blanket and sipping your favorite hot drink. You could also stay warm in style by taking a dip in the hot tub. Relax in the warm water and listen to the hum of the jets while looking out at the beautiful sights around you! Look up into the tall trees and listen for the sounds of wildlife. You may even have the chance to actually see some wildlife. One of the most popular animals is the black bear, as they have a population density of 2 bears per square mile. If you see one, they are wandering around preparing for hibernation in mid-December. Other residents of the Great Smoky Mountains include wild turkeys and white-tailed deer.

2. Grill and Fire Pit

If you love spending time outside, there are other amenities that you can enjoy! Cook in the great outdoors and whip up some juicy hamburgers or steaks on the grill for a delicious meal. For dessert, make a fire in the fire pit and roast marshmallows for s’mores. Eat them outside as you stay warm by the fire. There is ample seating to ensure that everyone gets a fair share of the warmth. If your cabin does not have a fire pit, you can still stay warm inside by using the fireplace in the living room!

3. Private Indoor Pool

In addition to the hot tub, some of our Smoky Mountain cabins also have an indoor pool. Swimming and being in the water is a fun activity for visitors of all ages. When you rent a cabin with a private indoor pool, you can still enjoy it when surrounding attractions, such as Dollywood’s Splash Country are closed. Spend the day having water races, splashing around, or lounging on the pool deck. This amenity is especially great for kids because they can get all their energy out and not have to go far.

4. Theater Room

Another way to pass the time is by going to the movies. Therefore, it is great that some of our cabins have theater rooms. Visitors don’t have to travel in the cold or pay for a ticket to get the beloved theater experience. Pop some popcorn or make other great snacks in the full-size kitchen and start the show. Sit back and watch a hilarious comedy, nail-biting thriller, or feel good holiday movie.
