Your Guide to a Full Day of Eating at Gatlinburg Restaurants

When you stay at one of our Gatlinburg cabins, there are a lot of activities in the area. You could go on a hike at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or enjoy attractions in the city, such as Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. You could take advantage of the amenities and relax at your cabin as well. Whatever you do with your day, you’ll need food for energy. Here is your guide to a full day of eating at Gatlinburg restaurants:
Breakfast: Crockett’s Breakfast Camp
Before you start your busy vacation day, have a delicious breakfast at Crockett’s Breakfast Camp! The name honors David C. “Crockett” Maples, a Tennessee figure who was a devoted Union soldier in the Civil War The restaurant honors his legacy by providing great food and Southern hospitality to everyone who visits. The menu has both savory and sweet options. If you want a savory breakfast, get an Omlet, a Scrambler, or Eggs Benedict. Sweeter dishes include pancakes, regular and stuffed french toast, waffles, and cinnamon rolls. Pair whatever you get with a refreshing cup of hot coffee or glass of orange juice for extra energy!
Lunch: Big Daddy’s Pizzeria
Have a delicious lunch at Big Daddy’s Pizzeria. The restaurant makes their pizza with fresh dough and homemade sauce. After piling on all your favorite toppings, they stick your pie into a 550 degree wood-fired flame brick oven. In addition to pizza, Big Daddy’s Pizzeria also has other great dishes on their menu, such as the Chicken Alfredo and the Italian Roast Pork Sandwiches. They also serve chicken wings, garlic bread, and pretzels as appetizers. After your main course, get a cannoli for dessert!
Dinner: The Park Grill
The Park Grill is a great place to have dinner. The restaurant is very close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, so it is known for its stunning scenery. Visitors can admire it as they eat a delicious meal. Their menu has plenty of options, such as the Blue Ridge Burger, Grilled Atlantic Salmon, and the Moonshine Grilled Chicken. Adult guests can pair their meal with delicious cocktails, some of which are made with the Smoky Mountain area’s very own Ole Smoky Moonshine!
Dessert: Maddog’s Creamery and Donuts
Maddog’s Creamery and Donuts is a “one stop sweet shop! It is a great place to grab dessert after dinner or a sweet treat at any time of day! Get ice cream in a cup, cone, milkshake, or sundae. Choose from classic flavors, such as Chocolate, Vanilla, and Cookie Dough. If you want to branch out, the shop also has their own unique flavors, including Black Walnut and Yellow Brick Road. Other items on the menu include a twisty funnel cake, the beloved ballpark and fair dessert. The fun doesn’t stop there though! They serve donuts as well!
